CETI's 2024 Impact Report

I am excited to share the Clean Energy Transition Institute (CETI)’s 2024 Impact Report with you today. As I wrote in my opening letter, CETI engaged in more mission-consistent projects last year than in our combined prior six years, making 2024 our most significant year yet.

While we worked on energy pathways projects with Washington and Oregon, as we have since our inception in 2018, we also delved deeply into a variety of issues relating to building a clean energy workforce. We continued our pioneering work on breaking barriers to developing clean buildings in Washington; we engaged in processes designed to address the region’s transmission challenges; and we examined equitable ways to develop rural clean energy. I encourage you to peruse the report to see the breadth and depth of all we achieved.

The world has changed significantly since January 21, 2025. With federal action now designed to impede clean energy progress, we are focused on maintaining momentum at the state level for what we hope will be a short interim.

CETI is well-positioned to provide the data, research, and convening required to develop community-defined clean energy solutions that will bring resilience, jobs, and environmental benefits. With the continued support from the donors and foundations that have sustained us to date and my stellar team and Board, CETI aims to deliver an equally impactful 2025.

Thank you for your engagement in our work. We could not do it without you.

Gratefully,
Eileen V. Quigley
CETI Executive Director
