August was exceptionally productive as the CETI team pushed hard to finish multiple projects with end-of-the-summer deadlines.

The summer is flying by. The CETI Team is working hard to stay on track with our many projects, as well as get into the mountains and out onto the water as much as possible to appreciate what we are trying so hard to protect and preserve.

In June, CETI was hard at work on projects in Oregon and Washington, dug into issues around transmission, welcomed a familiar face back to the team, and secured some exciting foundation grants.

Research Analyst Jeanne Currie takes a deep dive into transmission – what it is, why it matters for the clean energy transition, and how a more effective, centralized process for transmission planning could help the Northwest achieve decarbonization.

Since last month’s update, the CETI team has been out and about in three of the four Northwest states for a variety of clean energy activities.

Jamie presented CETI’s communications and engagement strategy to a class of students pursuing Master of Communication degrees in the University of Washington’s Communication Leadership Program.
