Samikshya Pandey

Research Analyst

Samikshya Pandey joined the Clean Energy Transition Institute in September 2021 as a Research Analyst. Samikshya is interested in employing her research and analytical skills to further policy understanding to translate what she learns to as wide an audience as possible.

Samikshya worked as a research assistant for START Center which is a research consulting group established in 2011 by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) and the University of Washington, Department of Global Health. At the START Center, she completed seven  research projects, including five for the Financial Services for the Poor, Gender Equality and Global Policy and Advocacy teams within the Foundation.

Samikshya is originally from Nepal and enjoys hiking and cooking. She hopes to finish reading the many books that she has collected through her numerous visits to bookstores in Seattle.

Samikshya graduated with a degree in Master’s in Public Administration from Evans School of Public Policy and Governance from University of Washington, where she concentrated in policy analysis and evaluation. She received her undergraduate degree in Mathematics-Economics from Furman University, South Carolina.
