Evan is the founder of Sensible Syndicate, a software company that provides consulting for nonprofits, in addition to building its own thoughtful software products.

Over the course of thirty years in the industry, he has led teams across almost every software engineering discipline, from frontend, to backend, to infrastructure and security. His work has served millions of people.

Evan has worked with nonprofit clients including Earthjustice, the Independent Media Institute, PAWS, the Jane Goodall Institute, and the Museum of Flight. In the for-profit space, he has worked with Rolling Stone magazine, Rhapsody, Simple Bank, Real Networks, and Boeing.

He holds a degree in geology from Carleton College and studied at the Osservatorio Geologico di Coldigioco in Italy. He has directed six plays, recently completed his first novel, and once was a contestant on Jeopardy.
