CETI worked on a project with Kinetic West, BW Research Partnership, and Uncommon Bridges to conduct a residential energy workforce gap analysis for a contract with the Washington State Department of Commerce.

The Net-Zero Northwest (NZNW) Workforce State Analysis examines the jobs that would be created or displaced in the four Northwest states if the region were on the path to achieving net-zero emissions.

This report, developed for the Washington Department of Commerce, provides technical analysis of the potential for developing green electrolytic hydrogen and hydrogen-derived fuels in the Washington; suggestions for the best uses for green hydrogen; considerations for permitting, siting, and environmental justice; and policy recommendations.

Harvesting the Sun tells the stories of three Washington state businesses in Jefferson and Clallam counties that have benefited from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA)’s Rural Energy for America (REAP) program.

This project aimed to: (1) understand the barriers to decarbonizing buildings for the state’s rural and Tribal low-income, energy-burdened households, and (2) determine whether decarbonization strategies and clean energy development could address energy inequities in these communities.

The Clean Energy Transition Institute (CETI) designed the Atlas to provide regional stakeholders with interactive visualizations that explore energy data relevant to deep decarbonization in Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington.

This project provides analysis for six Washington manufacturing sectors—aluminum, concrete and cement, glass, iron and steel, pulp and paper, and wood products—to help stakeholders and policymakers understand the different methods for decarbonizing each of these industries.

The Clean Energy Transition Institute and the 2050 Institute developed Operation 2030 to frame and jumpstart multilevel mobilization to fully scale building decarbonization activities by 2030, with specific emphasis on time-critical strategic decisions and actions that must happen in the 2020s.
